The Stop-TB Forum is a network of German NGOs. cropped-stoptb_final_CMYK.jpg
Our goal is the global fight against tuberculosis (TB) because tuberculosis is not a disease of the past—it remains a current and pressing global health problem.

In 2014 about 9,6 million people got newly infected with TB, 1.5 million people died from it – the disease is now the globally single most important infectous agent.

We will not accept this! Our vision is a world free of tuberculosis.

The Stop-TB Forum therefore:

  • Networks with German actors that work on tuberculosis
  • Raises awareness about TB as a global health threat among the general public and political decision makers

The Stop-TB Forum works to:

  • Improve the prevention and treatment of tuberculosis
  • Encourage the research and development of new medicines, diagnostics and vaccines

Public support and political will are essential to effectively fight tuberculosis worldwide. This is the focus of the Stop-TB Forum.
